Our tone is authenticity flavoured with magical realism as we make the most of the enchantment that Xmas allows to give this campaign a seasonal sparkle. Like Mike Leigh meets Simon Pegg in a Wetherspoons for a Christmas catch up before someone spikes their mulled wines and they end up on the Vegas Strip to get some lighting inspiration.
Along the way we find moments of distinctly British humour. Wry, dry, delivered with a wink and therefore rewarding even on the second or third watch.
AND…
The McDonald’s-ness runs deep, from the iconography familiar even to occasional indulgers to the if-you-know-you-know nuances that’ll catch the eyes of aficionados. The anticipation of a McDonald’s elevated to epic proportions through our jaw-dropping light show (lots more on this below).
The culmination of these parts being JOY as we stoke the appetites, stir the emotions and inspire seasonal wonder in our viewers.
